We’re excited to announce that Opkit has been selected to participate in Y Combinator’s upcoming summer 2021 cohort!
Y Combinator is the preeminent startup accelerator in the world, known for having incubated multi-billion dollar companies Airbnb, Stripe, Instacart, and others.
Opkit was selected to participate in Y Combinator on account of the strength of its founding team. Co-founders Justin Ko and Sherwood Callaway were previously early engineers at Brex, the $12b financial technology startup, and roommates during the covid-19 pandemic.
As a member of Y Combinator’s summer 2021 “batch”, Opkit will collaborate with founders from other top startups, attend regular strategy meetings with YC partners, and make an intense push to improve its product and business as much as possible during the three-month-long program.
Y Combinator culminates with Demo Day, a virtual event where Opkit will present for prospective investors.
Needless to say, the Opkit team is extremely excited about this opportunity!
